This notification does not automatically qualify you for a refund. This only provides you with an acknowledgement of your request and provides you with a tracking number. Upon receipt of your request, CheapOair will work with the suppliers such as airlines, hotels, car-rental companies to generate a waiver based on airline and other supplier rules and they will then notify you of the supplier decision.
• Please note that CheapOair are dependent on the suppliers for receiving the refunds. Once the refund has been approved by the supplier it may take additional time for this to appear on your credit card statement. Generally, all suppliers will charge a penalty for a refund. This entire process may take 60-90 days from receipt of your request to receiving credit on your statement.
• Apart from the airlines and other suppliers refund penalties, CheapOair will charge a fee for processing this refund ranging from CAD 50.00 – CAD 300.00. All refund fees are charged on a per-passenger, per-ticket basis. These fees will only be assessed if a refund has been authorised by the supplier or a waiver has been received and when the airline/supplier rules permit such refunds. If such a refund is not processed by the supplier, CheapOair will refund you CheapOair’s fees that may have been charged to you for such processing.
• Cancellation Password – For your security, when requesting CheapOair to cancel a booking on your behalf, their agents will send you an email with a unique Cancellation Password to the e-mail you entered when the booking was created.
• Please communicate the Cancellation Password to CheapOair’s agents when asked, in order to complete your cancellation request. Depending on your booking, you may complete your cancellation via the link provided in the email CheapOair will send in response to your request.
• If you cannot access your email and/or communicate your Cancellation Password, CheapOair may not be able to process your request for cancellation.
